opps let me clearify :)
{CoR} ez - I am using HLMV
-Sp|inter - Its your sleeve texture.. I am trying to put it on a shovel and I cant just import it cuz the size is not the same. Like I get it decompiled and then I exchange the two and then I dont know how to compile it back up. I hit compile and select the right file and it doesnt do anything..

You can take it into paintshop, or photoshop, or any imige editing software that lets you change the dimensions, and resize it that way. So all you have to do it import it using hlmv, and you won't have to mess with any decompiling/compiling.

I will try that, but alot of the time I still get an error saying "Error loading .BMP texture"
Thats why I was wondering about compiling and decompiling.

When ur all done and ready to save, In photoshop , u should check "INDEX" color. Its probobly on RGB mode cause i get that alot too, SO just switch the texture to INDEX color and ur done.

I dont have photoshop :(
I have paint and ArcSoft PhotoStudio (defualt on pc).
I dont know what to do then...
I saved it as a 24-bit bitmap image.
hmm... I fell so stupid to get stumped on something so freaking simple.

See.. this is my first time decompiling and the compiling it back up. I just wanted to try it to see if it was easier.
When I use the export... I can do that and I can edit it, but then it still wont allow it to import.
I am gonna try something new.. I will let ya know what happens... thanks for all the replies.
