Idle to Fire anime blending.

many weapons got nice idle animes where the weapon sways happily in the space and suddenly when you fire it get locked into the fire anime at once and it looks... well... unreal.
i would like to know if there is any way to make those animes blend with each other, and to make the fire anime to "fire" from the same position the weapon was in the idle mode.
Thanks, mort.
I don't think this would quite work out, it depends on how slow you blend the idel to fire anims. If it's too slow, like:
*swaaaaying my guuuun...swaaying my- hey I gotta fire! Let's move it now...so I can......FIRE!*
then that would obviously look weird. At the speeds at which people whip around and fire, I think it would be hard to get a good set of blends that don't make your guy look like he's on heroin. :D Then again, I'm no animator, or much of anything, so maybe it's possbile... Where's Capt. Glimsharp when you need him...

I don't think it's possible to do, but i might be wrong, i know you can have different origins for different anim sequences, because i've played with it before. I just could not get them to blend though, instead it would just jump to the new origins while one anim played then jump back again at the end of that anim.
