i say gamesnet because all the main dod channels are on gamesnet already

I like this idea aswell. You can use the DoD Editing Center IRC room if you want. At least then it would get some use. Its #dodec on gamesnet.

custom-dod sounds very good... it´s an independent name and not related to a website, which is the best choice anyway.

i cant get mirc cause my content filter wont allow me into the mirc site and i forgot the filter deactivation password:( .

I'll Sticky this here in MSA first, as most people who will want to visit the channel will know to come here and look at this section anyway.

If needed, I'll put a Sticky up in the General section, however, I'll check with the rest of the webstaff first, as we are a bit more particular about what gets stickied there to help not clog things up.

Where do you go to download the program IRC? I use to have it long ago.

To download mIRC go to the mIRC (http://www.mirc.com) site.

There are a many guides on how to set it up/use it, on the web, one of which is HERE (http://www.magic-league.com/Guides/mIRC.php).

mIrc is trialware so if you want a freeware client try Xircon http://www.xircon.com/

Also remember, scripts are for noobs :D
