Is it only BG models that load like that, or is it also DoD and CS models?

I'm driven to believe that the problem is that the BG player models were modeled in that position, much like the NS aliens were modeled in equally unconventional positions.

Since the DoD models and BG models probably use completely different skeletons, I don't believe that would work, strider, but that could be worth a shot, just in case.

There's someone here who did work for BG. Whiskas or someone else... You could ask him. I believe it's mentioned in his sig.

Errr... This question is out of place, but how the hell do I open DoD Models? Milkshape won't open .mdl files?

you have to decompile the .mdl first, milkshape only opens the .smd's that are stored in the .mdl's...

either use a decompiler from these boards or in milkshape there is a different version of a decompiler go to tools youll find it there.
