[animation] Thompson

There are a few thing's I'd like to see done with the Thompson, first, I'd love it if he held it by the sling instead of the horizontal foregrip, like Audie Murphy in To Hell and Back.

Second, the default animations show the Thompson firing from a closed bolt, which isn't right, as it should fire from a open bolt.
Another way I'd like to see the Thompson held is by the clip at the very top with his hand kinda on the reciever as well. Bad description I know, but here's a pic of what I mean:

I like the second idea. The STG44 has a similar animation and it looks great.

That would make things easier, but I'm not sure how it would help me with my request.

it would be cool to have the the guy hold the sling in idle and for the shoot anims he switches to the mag....:D

I can think of at least three animators off the top of my head, and I'm sure at least one of them is interested in doing this.

I can keep this up for a very long time, somebody had better just do it, or things might get messy.

Ok guys, winter break is coming up, and I'm sure there are a few people who will be looking for something to do, so my suggestion is to do these thompson animaions.
