yeah i dont know why but i keep popping in now and again, id love to come back and start skinning again, i miss the good ol days.

but steam puts me off and all the dicking around with that, plus after all this went to 1.0, id give anything to have the 3.1 days again, that was the best time for DoD, now its gone commercial its SCREAMING for all the noobs and lamers. after the release the forums got full of morons that came in and slagged all the long time members. i just got fed up of all the ignorance and left and stopped skinning for half life mods.

i keep popping in, i LOVED that COD carbine but of course it got deleted for IP. which i spose is fair enough.

DoD just got over-simplified so that any cretin could rule with any gun, before it took a bit of effort and thinking.

but yeah i thought id pop in, steam is what keeps me from re-downloading again, keeps alot of people in know away too, another ingenius decision by valve huh :)

maybe one day, ive heard 1.1 is much better and is going back towards the way 3.1 was is this true?

supposedly. i'm still playing 1.0 on the two hundred or so remaining won based servers. and i'm using this 3.1 model, with an old skin i had saved from the beta days. i noticed the sling discrepancy in hlmv but ingame it's not obvious because the rifle itself is a bit in the way of the view of the sling, unless you're reloading or something. i'm not going to say "fantastic" because that would be a blatant over reaction to a simple conversion, but thanks, i missed the sling and the lack of exaggerated fov.

dude there is no sling in idle mode cause the requester wanted the idle of 1.1 u barely notice that the sling is missing is you want the sling to be on dle just do it your slef by decompiling it and adding in the 3.1 idle mode

Try this out, right click on the link then go to properties, then in the window that will open copy the address and paste it to your IE address and see if that helps, try also in IE- file - open and there paste it, also... you can try doing the same in DAP if you use it.
