not 1.1 compatible yet

ok, i know im a reall ******* for making you guys wait 6 months for these cus i forgot about them. im real sorry, but here they are. straight out the readme...

player models: dod team
player skins:
allied/british inf: vandori
allied paras: danza
hand models: unknown (marksman, trigger??)

I love the comfortable hands texture change, i made it Gloves and it look so cool now, also it looks real cause every one of my weapon models have gloves.

I hope these will be ready for 1.1 soon, but then again we are going to wait approx. 2-3 weeks for that, so I guess we will just have to keep our pants on for now.

I've started converting these for my own use (different textures and stuff, but one thing I noticed, on the us-inf model, the head has a giant triangle sides hole on his right side.

Edit: I got around the allied infantry model with the hole in head0.smd by just copying head1.smd over it and now theres no hole (no big deal since I replace all the faces with a similar one that I like best).

The biggest problem came when trying to change the way the helmet sat on top of the head for the allied para model. It's smashed down lower on the head that normal and to the side a bit (left at you look at it head on). I tried replacing the helmet and/or head models from the default over to see if that would work, and replacing both did work in fact, but I lost the addition of the new hand model/texture which was the primary reason for trying to convert these.

I couldn't get it to work otherwise, and I don't own a copy of ms3d to play with it, nor would I even know where to begin or what to do. If you have any interest in redoing the helmet on the us-para model, or have suggestions on how I could go about trying to do so myself, pm me.

Also, there seems to be a clipping issue with the neck of the head and the top of the shirt/jacket, and I think that may come from the new heads on the model, which look like the infantry heads for allies.

I know those are small gripes and may take more work than it's worth to fix em, but really, other than those few tiny problems, these are great.

Has anyone created 1.1 compatible models of these, even for their own use that they wouldn't mind hosting for us? These are by far my favorite models but I can't d/l it for 1.1 so I'm very sad. :(

P.S. Would anyone mind making the hands on it use the 512x512 glove texture?
