Here's an update on me, what I'm doing and when it will all go down.

Project 1: Codename Flintlock
Who: Me, you know, skinner, sound designer. Faceman also is helping a little.
What: It's not player model related. However it is for DoD and so far is very close to being done. No preliminary screenshots, cause it doesn't work that way.
Where: Will be released here as soon as it is finished.
When: Soon.

Project 2: Skin Conversions
Who: Once again, me. Though Tekkobra may have some involvement.
What: I'm going to convert all my 1.0 skins to 1.1b. This includes the american, british and german skins, all styles. Currently I need to actually fix the player models because their textures got resized strangely in 1.1b. But I'm working on it.
Where: Will be released here as soon as it is finished.
When: Not too long from now.

And that's about it.

A flintlock is a type of gun, incase you didn't know. They are very nice. Fun to shoot you. They can be pretty damn accurate for guns of their time-period. :)

Any updates??? I used all your packs for my models van, and since 1.1, the default models are keeping me from even loading up the game. Here's hoping conversion is done soon...

I've got pretty much everything done. I've only got to fine tuning to do with Flintlock. Sadly real life has cut into my time, but I could probably get it released in the next week or so.

As for the conversions, I'm just being lazy there. :D
They will get done though, maybe with some new skins too.

You can just use the T.MDL and it'll work fine with the default 1.1 models. It'd just change the texture. If that is what you meant.

Vandori

What you mean they got resized strangly ?
As in they arn't 512x512 anymore ???

Well, oddly enough the 1.0 models (or the ones I downloaded) have texture sizes rangeing from 510x508 to 512x509 and such.

I don't know how it works exactly, but I need to fix the models so my old textures work on them. Otherwise I'd have to resize all the textures on a model by model basis, plus it brings down the texture quality a bit.

Also I should mention that almost all the textures are like this. They have 1-10 pixels shaved off their normal size. So something that's 256x128 would be like 256x120 or 252x127, etc.

Sounds like somebody forgot to include $cliptotextures in the qc when compiling.

Haha sounds like it, I wasn't the one compiling, I will pass it along, thanks.

I hate that blurry junk.
