i don't see why you did it off the ranger models.....the default ranger models do not have the right gear that the airborne had

The diamond on the back of the helmet is unique to the Rangers, and you wouldn't see it on Airborne. While you might see paratroopers wearing so-called tanker jackets, the rest of their uniforms are different from those of regular infantry.
uniforms damaged in a jump (almost 70% of the time) were replaced by more standard looking uniforms.

The helmet was a mess up however.
This was a big argument with the veteran's associations and holywood in the making of Band of Brothers (Because, when they make a movie/series as real as ever, there's still going to be complaints, much like the veteran's complaints about Saving Private Ryan.)

hmm, never heard that before. By the way, any chance of seeing a recompile of your C company pack once the compiler is out? I mostly just want the gas mask bag thing heh
