Triggers Garand, No FOV

So I finished it one hour ago, but I had strange computer probs, so I'm just able to release it now :)

I love this model and the metal textures, but the wood is putting me off from using it. :(

I will be lying if i will tell you it's not a good job, cause it's a great one, but well... i'll be also lying if i will tell you i like it.

Take the wood for example... It's a great wood, But i don't think it goes well with a garand, anyway not this one...
That's just how i feel about it ;-]

tbh, i don't like the non FOVed models, i don't think the HL engine gives them a good look, they just look out of propotion imo.

You totaly get my feedback, it's just me don't like the model so much ;/

yah the wood looks a bit too exotic for me :\ and needs more lighting i think. The metal is good but ... yah

Never been a fan of these type of wood :(
It looks like if u rub ur hand agaist it u wil get a thousand splinters
I prefer smooth wood thats been sand paperd down
This wood looks like they just slapped a tree's bark on it

Nice metal though :D

the metal looks great, i cant say anything about the wood however since i cant see it that well... oh well i ll just dl the file and open HLMV myself :)



edit:

i'd say darken the wood some more, i like the scratches however so keep that :D
