http://www.dodmaps.com , your primary (hopefully ;) ) dod custom maps resource has now a custom map server database for you guys out there!

I noticed that many people here complained about the lack of custom map servers, but in fact I think there are quite some servers out there which play customs on a regular basis. Well, our problem is that they mostly mix customs and stock maps, which results in the fact that they´re sometimes filtered out by the server browsers if you´re searching for custom maps.

The solution to this problem : Add your server to the dodmaps.com server db!

How it works :
==========

1. Create an admin account
2. Log into the admin panel
3. Register, maintain or delete your servers!
4. Go to the server-section of our site and see how your server is shown in the list. A detailed view featuring the map cycle, the website and the admin´s email adress and icq uin (for contacting them) is avaible as well.

What´s going to be added in the next version :
=================================

1. Continental variables ( so that people can see where the server is roughly located) with some small flags (will look neat hopefully :D )
2. Bug fixes? I tested the script on my own and it worked fine for me. If you want additional features or fixes, tell me.

Ok, now it´s up to you guys. Register your servers there and spread the word about this db to all those who are searching for custom map servers. The community can only gain from this! :)

nice intiative rotkopf.

we've found it a nightmare to get custom server going - we have to mingle with standard maps to try and get people in. but that still doesn't work.

hope this takes off.

i've just noticed your custom nights. thats cool idea too. unfortunately, can't make this wednesday.
