I'm trying to get the model to appear animated in-game. When i plave the enitity in Hammer, it is moving, but them when I compile it and play it in-game...it just sits there. Any suggestions?

you have to know the name of the particular animation, (half-life model viewer will show them for you) and then make sure you
name these in the options for the env_model
and you should check that you set it to loop as well
greenhorn got it right.
Hammer has the ability to animate the model by a number. this is hammer specifc and will only be shown in hammer.
To get it to animate in game you need to find out what the name for the animation is, get Half-Life Model Viewer (HLMV), but make sure its jeds HLMV it works much better.
Open the model up with HLMV and change it over to the sequnce tab, then use the drop down to select the right animation name. over to the side it will aslo show the animation number.

What do i use? the sequence name or the number? and where do i type that into?
For it to show up in game you always use the sequence name.
Type into the "sequence when on/off" fields.
The fact it has both allows you to switch animations with triggers. If you don't want it to switch, just type it in both to make sure. Otherwise pay attention to the entitys state and use the right one.
