Request - Early war American set to replace Brits

Although the M1 Garand was adopted in 1936, there were still thousands of Springfield M1903's in front line service for standard riflemen. Basically all that would be needed for this pack would be an unscoped 1903 to replace the Enfield, as well as a 1928 Tommy (which has already been released) for the Sten, BAR Bren and of course a Springfield for the scoped Enfield. This wouldn't be too much work, and I would just do it myself if I knew how. Recompiling these weapons with US sleeves in place of the British sleeves, and then recompiling (if it's even necessary) US models for the Brit weapons code (although still using the US weapon animations obviously) would be it, plus taking that scope off the Springfield and putting iron sights in its place. I don't care if it's a 1903a3 or the original WW1 version with the Mauser-style rear sight. I have a feeling there are a few others who have thought of this and would like to see it, and if in fact nobody has ever thought of this, the idea is now out there, so I leave it to the MSA community to do what you think is proper.

for that matter, you could use Pacific Theatre Marines. they didn't get the Garand until much later in the war.

I've got a 1903a1 Springfield rifle that I made but never textured or released, I could give that to somebody interested. It wouldn't need reanimating if you attached it to a k98 skeleton and used the custom smack animations released some time ago for the k98, so all you would need is a texutre. The player models could also be hacked together using existing stuff, but would require at least a little texture work.

Its cos the rifle isn't alligned right with the skeleton.

Same thing happened to me when i put kar animations on those jap rifles. Jus keep messing about with it, rescaling might also help.

Its jus a case of tril and error really, looks good so far though. keep it up.

Sorry to be anal... but, where are the sights? The gun doesn't have any on it. It really detracts from it. Besides that, good animation job.
