well, looks like 1.1 will be released soon! Which means the MSA will have to start from scratch, or does it?. :( and to think all the nice things that came out in the past days and will now be in need of being converted. hmmmmm.:o

Gun models, sounds and sprites will be fine.

Player models won't work.

They should work, might take some re-compiling but thats about it I should imagine.

I'm sure Marzy will write a tutorial. He's nice like that :D

So...we can't reinstall the custom player models after the download?

What would happen if I kept the custom models in?Would it crash the game or what?

Aside from the player models we can reinstall all other custom things like sounds, weapons and so forth? Thanks.

Probaby your 3rd person player models might look a little funky or may jerk around rather than animate smoothly (unlike some forum memebers who are just a bunch of animated jerks :D)

Apart from extra controllers there are new anims new - kind of a pisser as I'd just animated all the faces on my models :(

Since the animations will be changed in 1.1, you can use older player models but they will look to be doing very strange things, like looking in the air all the time or playing the wrong animations to diferent actions.

All other custom stuff should work, though some weapons may have different animations or timing.

I think it's a pretty sure thing that there will still be submodelled player models =P

It's a shame about your faces Jed =/ Hopefully it won't be too hard to transfer them over.

The only thing that MIGHT be busted is the MG42.

After playing 1.1 for a map, all of my custom models were untouched, with the exception of the garand and greasegun for some reason. They got set back to the default.
