[Mrels] BAR, Greasegun and Folding Carbine!

K, I did these in a span of 2 weeks. The BAR (with fliping up sight action), the Para Carbine (With the stock folded) and the Greasegun (Made by Nomad and Glimsharp)

Sounds made by the Firearms team.

For Window Shoppers (Which I HATE with a PASSION), Pics will come up in a bit.

No P and W models for the Greasegun just yet. Carbine Sleeves may differ, so you should just import the normal ones. Ill upload the default sleeves in a bit.

The greasegun looks odd imo, why is it slanted to much to the right? Whenever I stick some shoulder origins on is looks like hes trying to fire it sideways fs!

Can it be fixed?

Edit: awesome reload anims on every model!

I wanted my animations to be unique, but if you want it straight, ill make it straight.

Well they are nice (and unique!) it just looks odd on the greaser imo ;)

A straight version would be much appreciated if its not too much bother.

the carbine ROCKS !
the grease gun is also amazing, im using both.

The bar... i love the iron sight aim going up and everything... but i don't like the deploy anime, you don't see him firing and his hands are missing, also the way the "legs" are set... kinda wierd, anyway... i think with a small tweak it can be the best bar around.

VVVV VGJ! on this release, really owned.

I love these new anims, they're top-notch, I'll be using all three. Have you done a thompson yet? I'd love to see a tommy with the guy holding the front of the sling instead of the fore-grip like Audie Murphy in To Hell and Back.

I've only tried out the greasegun of the three so far. There's one thing though. The sounds that came with the models, if you happen to not care for them very much (like I just happened to do) then if you don't put them in and use them the sounds you want to use won't work with your models.

I don't really like that, and that's why I decided to not use your standard carbine...because of the sound isssue.

Perhaps this is easily fixed I dunno, but in that case I just don't know how to fix it.

Oh yeah, the greasugun was pretty neat.

You can always take some other sounds, rename them to match the ones i provided and boom, you have ur own sounds for them. Think custom sound replacement, just replace the sounds that you want with the ones that i provided.

Sorry, but too many tommy_reload_clipin.wav events playing in a model make me go insane (take the default Webly for example)...

Just gotta ask if you could do the animation of the carbine in CoD? I just love when you hit the mag in place instead of pushing it.

quite easy...

Open MS (make sure you have downloaded and installed the Zero Joints tool, found here (http://www.swissquake.ch/chumbalum-soft/forum/showthread.php3?s=&threadid=10996). To install, place the DLL in your Milkshape Directory )

Decompile Ankalars model
Decompile my bar
In milkshape, Import Ankalars reference files (copy his textures to the directory which you decompiled my version in) and use the Zero Joints tool. (Tools>Zero Joints)
Export and compile.

If you want to replace sleeves, you should do the same to the sleeve references.

About COD:

And what I import, the qc. and the refrnec cause his refrnec file is named differently...

and finally I export the refrence...

I got it to work, but some animations are messed up. The back site doesn't flip up on the bipod down animation and it doesn't even do anything on the bipod up. There's also only one hand.

Oh yeah great job on all three Sushi!

EDIT: OIC - the sight doesnt flip up because its missing a bone...guess you have to do the old fasioned way...assigning the gun to its individual bones.

You don't have to assign all the bones again, just assign the leaf-sight to the new bone. I did it and it works perfectly as far as I can see.
