my definition for this thread of custom map(s) is anything that wasnt released with the newest version. im just wondering what everyones favorite custom maps are, top 10 preferably, and if possible ones that are better suited for clan play and arent objective based (i.e. blowing up tanks, capturing documents etc)

mine in no particular order:

1. dod_railroad2
2. dod_harrington
3. dod_oslo
4. dod_cr44
5. dod_zafod
6. dod_solitude
7. dod_risk
8. dod_tiger
9. dod_devestation
10. dod_imnotsure < couldnt think of a 10th :(

and if you could or want to a little description of why you feel this map is good for clan matches etc :)

i'd rather not waste my time, everytime i do a search i get results that have nothing to do with what im looking for and i'd rather not spend 15 minutes sorting thru posts.

sorry fuzzdad, but the search function wont search the word 'top' because it has less that the designated four letter minumum.

Anyway ... the three letter limit is a pain in the arse you can't search for lots of things; map, rmf, & fgd come to mind.

To think, in a mapping forum ... you can't even search using the word "map" :rolleyes:

I know. I was talking about the flash that xerent made before his HD crash.

flash classic had the best model trees for its time. (early dod 2) and was by far the best looking dod map for its time. gameplay was tops too (the bottlenecks in front of the last flags was the only let down)
