3.1 Tommy with extra's pack

I made this for 3.1 tommy fans, or for those that fancy a trip down memory lane...:)
I've taken the 3.1 tommy with no FOV and added dod v1.0 anim's, i've then taken the bones positions for the left arm and hand from the 3.1 anim's, and the root sling bone position, so the sling joins to the model in the right place, and the arm and hand are gripping the weapon identical to the original 3.1 tommy. I have also used the same origins as the original 3.1 tommy and also re meshed the tommy to take Polygons Hi res skins, so you have a choice of 3.1 default or Polygon skins. The model also includes custom sleeve models and bullet, aswell as Ripa's hands with further edits made by me, to make the right hand finger ends look more natural. There also is a choice of normal reload anim, or a 3 arm version with the bolt being pulled back.
This was not an easy hack to do and involved a lot of editing SMD files in notepad, still i think it was worth it.

Well you are aware that the default metal skins are different uv maps then polygons. As far as i know the default 3.1 UV maps are the same as v1.0 UV maps, where as the metal UV maps on polygons are different, hence why i had to remesh the 3.1 model to make new UV maps to fit polys metal. So if you have made a skin that uses the same skins as the default, then use one of the default skinned models, else if you have made them the same as polygons skins then use a poly skinned one.
So just to let anyone know that might be using this model, that the default 1.0 skins should fit the default skinned model.

Dont worry i fixed the problem...when i did the skin I used poly's mesh which u put on the elite tommy, but it is a different size to the one u put on the 3.1 tommy by about 30 pixels. so i resized and made a few adjustments and it is ok now:)
I should release it soon:)

Well
2arm_default = default skins normal reload.
2arm_poly = Polygon Hi res skins normal reload.
3arm_default = default skins with pulling the bolt back reload.
3arm_polygon = Polygon Hi res skins with pulling the bolt back reload.
Hope that helps.

Because if you unzip the file like AFG has said, you will see 4 different folders with each tommy in, labeled the same as below.
2arm_default
2arm_poly
3arm_default
3arm_poly

Well have you looked at the hand texture ingame, because they don't look nothing like the colour they do in HLMV, well on my PC anyway.
Here is a pic showing the difference on my PC, i don't think they look orange in game, but more like some ones hands going into battle, with adrenaline pumping and the red stuff flowing...:)

Just like all textures look different ingame to what they do in 3d programs, HLMV, paint programs etc, well on my PC they do. So i always colour my textures to suit that of the way the Halflife engine displays them, and not to how they look in other programs.

Thank you so much for this model MaRzY! I've been waiting for the 3.1 tommy with the new sleeves since 1.0 came out. Again thank you! :D
