HOT! [MREL] DoD 3.1 Crosshair !

here a little Tutorial : CHANGE CROSSHAIR STYLE ! ::

1. open the hud.txt ( in dod/sprites)
2. go to the cross_style_2 lines
3. change the crosshair positions

Example: (Its the Attached Crosshair ) !!

cross_style_2_horiz 640 dodcross 3 7 7 12
cross_style_2_vert 640 dodcross 1 1 1 1
cross_style_2_dot 640 dodcross 10 34 3 7

thats all !!

pls make sure that in the config.cfg cl_dynamic_xhair "0" is !!

ok have phun outside !!

But when you change the config.cfg cl_dynamic_xhair "1" to config.cfg cl_dynamic_xhair "0" then it dont move !

I have no idea how to mess with sprites.....

I'm excited and titilated by this, but I need a more in-depth explanation. I'm afraid the cross will just just sit immobile, which is admittedly an improvement, but still.

oh i sorta see what you did

although that doesnt give u animated 3.1 crosshair, nor does it work with dot hairs really (gonna go test that out now)

Hi ya [SoS]Schlex, you are a bit of an expert at this I wonder if you help/advise on something

I understand how to mod the cross hairs but i dont know how to create the sprite in colour but also with transparency. Been using the sprite maker but have only successfully done it in B&W.

It's blackened wood. A popular, yet simple little modification that was rampant on the KK Kustomization forums for a while during the days of 2.1, or so.

but I have updated the crosshair, know its similary to the 3.1 as my first crosshair.
