3D Studio max is a piece of kit which has to be purchased (around £3,000 - £4,000 i think) and therefore if you want it your best bet would be checking online PC stores.

There are other ways of getting it of course but dicussing them here would be breaking the forum rules as you would be discussing 'wares'.

I don't think anyone here can give you a link to 'that' version of 3D studio max but if some other alternatives worht a look are mabye GMAX (watered down free version of 3d studio max) which can be found here. (http://www.discreet.com/products/gmax/)

Or the free version of Maya may be worth a look. (http://www.alias.com/eng/products-services/maya/maya_ple/index.shtml)

Other good 3d programs worth a look are wings or milky (which at only £11 is quite good really).
