I gotta post quick before I go to school. No Para carbine version yet, i gotta reanimate that too.

Can anyone tell me how I would go about putting these anims on a different model (still carbine obviously)?

Would I just decompile em and switch around some files?

The average M1 Carbine reference is NOT compatible. The one I used has zeroed joints. The original does not.

Rotkopf, no. You'd be arrested for child molestation. Why do guys have the hots for me? First a junior asks me out to prom...now this...

Your not too bad yourself Klown, Of course, Extreme Idle sway can get a little distracting to me too...(and yet for some reason i intentionally put it there...)

Now that you mention the sway... well i don't have a problem with sways but the one in here is a little bit too strong imo, won't stop me from using it though.

Create two directories

One with Sushis carbine
One with whatever carbine you have

Decompile both, them copy the smd files from sushis directory to the model you want the animations on.

Recompile and it should work.

If you want to get rid of the sway on the carbine, open your qc file

Look for a line like this
$sequence idle "idle" fps 12

Change fps 12 to fps 0. Save, compile.

It won't work Kiff...
Though the model is the same, I re-zeroed the rotations for the skeleton. This means that the skeleton has been modified and wont be compatible with any other model. No copy or pasting, sorry...You actually have to work for this one...

Ahh ok, i assumed the bones would be the same.

I always thought the reload animations for the carbine were a little too subtle, so I'm happy to see these. Any chance of seeing a re-animated Grease Gun in the future?
