studiomdl.exe screws up my textures.

Do I have a bad version or am I doing it wrong. When ever I try and compile my model the textures are slightly a resized and the UV map is somewhat shifted. I have tried running it through HLMV and from the command line but I still get the same thing. What do I do?
the problem is HL models. they dont like non integer( or something like that) value for the vertecies on your mesh. This means it will shift your mesh to the closest grid point it likes, this results in skewing, hey it pisses me off too. lets just hope for HL2.

it's fixable with a little work, do a search and I'm sure you'll find something
