Thompson has the sling that moves when shooting/reloading. I just love the way the colt is being held, and the animations are quite spiffy as well.

That's great !
i could only use the 3.1 texture but i could not combine the 3.1 tommy with the dod1 hands so you completed my quest :-)

Lookin good m8, i'll be using.
GJ kiff.

Edit:

I'm not sure, it could be?

The original credits for that colt say

Model - Bullitor
Skin - Pezz3D
Compile - Engineer

?

Though there's a texure file that says "Whiskas catfood is better than chocolate" ?

http://pokemart.fragism.com/index.php?cat=allied&page=colt ??

Edit: Right, i just concluded that's not even the correct colt! Ahh bugger it.

Kiff, can you please make the model so the origin will look like the 3.1/1 tommy (same position) ?

This model is a bit more like a shoulder sight, im having a hard to get you to.

Re-origining is really easy to do.

Marzy has a great tutorial on how to do it.

That Colt was originally modeled and skinned by Bullit. Whiskas converted it for DoD.

edit: The model might be made by Whiskas but at least the skin is Bullit's.

A lot of animation stuff coming out, very nice. That colt is the best custom colt available, though there aren't many to chose from in the first place, it's just too bad there isn't a better texture, something a little less modern and more WWII.

nice work.

but the 3.1 reload animation was inaccurate. its physically impossible to pull the mag out the way it was done in 3.1

and the way he holds the tommy throughout the entire animation is incredibly impractical in real life. the Mohaa reload animation for the thompson is more accurate.

Grim_Reaper if the link is dead, you might like to try out the Tommy 3.1 classic model, which you can find here

Woh, didn't think anyone would did this up.

I've re-uploaded the zip with the colt and thommy. I'll keep there for awhile longer. The first link should work

And for the lazy who read this but cannot build up the motivation to go back to the first page !
