As i'm sure most of us agree that Glimmy's latest bren model release is tops, but there was a few things that bothered me about the overall model. One being there was no large axis arm included with the model, and in a couple of anim's you see half an arm. The other was how long and thin the arm looked when folding the bipod up and down and holding the bren by it's bipod. And the hand looking to big and out of perspective when gripping the receiver. This problem accrues because of Halflifes FOV, making things look thin the further they are from the players view and big the closer they are to the players view.
So to try and improve the left arm FOV problem i have come up with this. I've added another left arm model to the model, and scaled it right down so it's more in perspective with the back end of the gun. I have also scaled the full sleeve model and hand so there much bigger. Now I've edited the anim's so the two swap just off screen at the right point in the relevant anim's. But me not being an animator have had to change the way the hand grips the receiver, which was a shame, because if it was edited to like that of the original anim's it would look much better. Anyway the overall look perspective wise IMO looks better.

I've also tided up the model in general and added a large axis sleeve, and scaled down the right sleeve and hand to look more in perspective with the bren. Both the right hand sleeve and small left hand sleeve are some of my custom model sleeves. Also enhanced the model in a couple of areas, see pic below for details.

Big thanks to Capt. Glimsharp, Dillinger and the Dod dev team.
I hope if glimmy finds the time he might tweak and edit the left hand gripping the receiver like the original anim's.
Enjoy...:D
