WiP - My latest Map

As im nearing the completion of my map i thought it would be time to post some screenshots. the map is set in France some days after D-Day. its a small village occupied by the germans with the allies attacking from the south. map is about 80 - 90% done, r_speeds are nice, 2 peaks of 850 but overall under 700. The map has no name atm but if som1 has suggestions about that or anything else, plz let me know. well i think thats enough for now, here are the first screenshots, hope u all like them.

How is the map layed out?

Maybe you could name it dod_bocast.loentan

It looks really good, no visual errors and all that, everything is realistically build, but imo it would look better if you would add a grey atmosphere with rain, sort of donner-looking, that would make this map look even better I think, or maybe try it in night setting. Also I think we have enough sunny maps. Anyway, it looks really good, no complaints, keep up the good work :D

yah, like in the second episode of bob (greyish green) or that one part in spr where the sniper kills the fag from fast and furious.

A lot of nice maps show up here, but I have to say this one looks really good. I think the atmosphere is really solid now though it would be interesting to see rain and or darker night. But right now it looks great. =) As for names I dunno...I usually build maps with a real historical scenario in mind before I start so coming up with names is easy.

well, i personaly like sunny maps so i made it this way, but il try out a rainy, foggy and darkish test to see what atmosphere it brings.

I admire your staircase. Its so correct looking and in proportion, I never could get that right.

There's a little of the whole flat-wall-with-a-building-texture syndrome, but you know, with the economy nowadays, nobody can afford a high poly house in a war zone anyway.

YEAH! A NIGHT MAP! If you could, a night map would be really sweet, add some light posts, etc, and some good lighting inside, make it seem the allies are attacking during the night, and have the axis spawn in a house with beds/bunks like they just got up! lol -- I dunno about that last one, I'm serious about the night though.

- Use more variation in house textures
- Streets looks empty. Maybe add some cover?
- Add some more detail pretty much everywhere. Phonepoles/wires and stuff.
- Also some height difference in houses would look nice.
