Continuing the Russian Weapon skins I'm currently working on for Cheeto here is the early version of the PPS-43. This gun is the cheaper cousin to the PPS-43, sort of like the relationship between the Greasegun and the Tommy gun. The PPS-43 was significantly cheaper than the PPSh since the whole gun was sheetmetal and was made in a tuba factory mainly and used some PPSh parts as well.

The skin is in a rough draft phase right now....the wip pics Im putting up are in the beginning stages of adding details like scratches, highlights, and 3D details. I've got a preview page at my alternate site as well as a preview pic attached to this post.

Also, I know that the model has 3.1 hands on it...Either Cheeto or myself will put the 1.0 hands on the model.

Horrible mesh!

But not nearly as bad as VCTRMaster's 98k one.

lol cathode...

i dont really like the skin (or is it the mesh)... its too stone gray, might wanna lessen it :D

oh yea and take a look at the 3rd pic in ur preview pics. the dod hand has fingernails on the other side of the hand as well!!!!!

Yeah I know about the hands and the coloring guys...The hands are FUBAR because they are 1.3 hands and they will be changed. The skin is too gun metal grey because I havent added the details to it, just wanted to show that work was being made on the skin. Progress pics tomorrow after I get out of work.

Yeah this was one of my first attempts at skinning anything lol. I pretty much had to scrap this skin and start from scratch....its not too high on my list of to-dos but I'll see what I can pull together.
