im not sure on how to replace the sounds and models to what i have on the non-steam version...

reason why is i want to convert to 1) experiance the BS
and 2) play on the dod pub server and try to play with some of the peeps that post here :)

Use the: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\xxxxxxx@hotmail.com\day of defeat\dod folder the same way you would use the c:\sierra\half-life\dod one ;)

yea i tried that, but theres no sound or models folder.. unless i create them and then just pull the files over into them

yep.. you have to do that yourself
