Nice work Marzy - I always thought that that model looked a little two thin and long toward the muzzle...great job :)

Great job, again! I didn't use the original because it was too skinny.

Well done! :D

Just downloaded it, no WONDER why the metal on the back looks so screwed up, its because of the mesh.. -_-

Anyway, Gj as usual MaRzY

gone are the days of one person making a single model. Hell, they're the size of a team making a small game made in the early 90s.

Nice work, I did not use it before because the reticle and end of barrel was too tiny without the FOV compile.

I'm going to be a "n00b" right now and ask what "fov" means.

So, what's it mean?

FOV = Field Of Vision

The halflife engine destorts models making them look fat at the closest point and thin at the furthest point, so we edit a model by tapering and stretching it to try and correct this, so as to make it look more natural to the players view as to what it would in real life.

imo it makes the gun look bent...

this model is Nasty, looks like a shotgun to me, The original is WAY better.

lol, a shotgun? I bet youīve never hold a rifle in your hands dude.

Besides that, if you have nothing nice to say, donīt say anything at all. Saying "this sucks" will get you into trouble here. Provide serious feedback; f.e. why this model isnīt as good as the original one. But donīt post comments like "this blows/sucks/is bad" etc.

I'm only a novice when it comes to making models FOV, this is my 3rd or 4th go at it, and it's been modeled to that of the same size and similar shape as the default Garand, but if you can do better, then be my guest.

I did not do this for myself, but rather to help those in the community out that requested it, i'm happy with my default enhanced version, it just needs a good Hi res custom skin on it.

Rotkopf is right, if you don't have anything nice to say, then keep it to yourself. That's the second post I've seen where you flame someone's work for no good reason.

(Like I said before Marzy, very nice.)
