yeah, another name for the "wood" as you so simply put it is "furniture"... it can be used for any type of grips or stocks
Not like it matters for realism or anything, but being that there's no rear sight now, why don't you try hacking the stg's rear sight onto that fg? I think that'd look kinda cool.

the stg rear sight uses some texture of parts of the barrel or something it dont really matter much anyways lol
i have an untrained eye for things like those
