Changing 1.0 Origins

I used to be a nut for changing the v_mdl origins back in 3.1. Can I still use the same 3.1 compiler? And if not, does a new one exist yet? I love the new default dod models, but the origins leave something to be desired personally.

YOU can but, only weapon models. Also if the model needs transparency, it wont work.

Transparency?? Which weapon models use this???

But you are saying I CAN use the old 3.1 compiler???

YES 3.1 compiler should work for guns.
MG42 and garand 30 cal, and more use blue textures that do not render so they are holes in the barrel and stuff.

Yes I see what you mean now. I recompiled the garand using StudioMDL and the inside of the garand rear iron site (the little circle) was no longer transparent, it was blue.

Do you know if someone is working on a way to fix this???

Yeah, I just finished my Shoulder View Pack and some of the weapons have the blue transperancy showing. How do you fix it? This is the only thing holding me back from releasing.

You Cannot yet. there needs to be a new compiler.
