i even got one without the bayo with that u can find an animator and make them make garand smash for it or the funky butstab one..

damn man both of em got texture errors on the hands just use piant shop pro or something and fill in the gaps..

IRL thats there to stop the front sight getting knocked around when you drop the rifle or anything hits it. Its a protector for the front blade. After setting it up you dont want an explosion going off near you to knock it off and thus making your sights useless.
In Game it doesnt have any purpose except look realistic.
