may I suggest that you should use dr. tempura´s waffen SS camouflage textures for your models? They are the most detailed flecktarn camouflage textures I´ve seen yet for DoD. They´re much sharper and not as blurry as many other camo models.

It is possible. Some models have this. And if he can place the eagle on the right arm only like it´s shown on the pic, it should be possible to place it on the left arm only anyway.

Actually its no problem, i was just testing the eagle out. so dont worry, if there were any innacuracies on this set now, they will definately be fixed on the final release. trust me, realism is a thing i dont look over. :)

i used a duplicate part of the arm, and placed it over the arm, put the eagle on the mesh, and the surrounding area is trasparent.

Those individual fingers look just like the ones Devin used in his SS packs, but reskinned. Nothing new. And cath0de..individual bullets have been around for the longest time.

actually the hands were modelled by Trigger, so thier new, plus they fit better to the DOD skeleton.

seems near the perfect skins for dod but i won't use it because i hate camo skin (yes i like unifoms) but it's a very good things, maybe when you rel it someone can do on uniforms without camo and it will be perfect

That 98k is from Ralfst3rs 98k set, which uses the Bots? p/w model with an awesome new wood. My fave.

The surprising thing is, shes actually interested in this stuff, it left me very confused. and she made me explain how i skin, so i rambled on about decompiling and QC files, and other nonsense she probboly doesent understand, but it was funny how facinated she was.

anyways, im making little touchups to the skins.. and i still need to root out some of the flat shading problems ive been having.

Thats pretty cool Russ, its rare to find gals like that and like Ska said they would either be uninterested or would find you weird or they could stay away from you permanently just because of that but then if they did do that then they're not worth it :)

ahhh.. things have just been so busy with me.. sry guys.. for the most part im done.. but these errors wont go away, wih might mean me sacrificing some things i would have liked to have in the pack.

but seriously, when you have a gf.. litterally nothing else seems interesting.. now all i wonder about is what flavor lip-gloss she was wearing.. school work has been pretty abundant too.

Well, to be honest i dont have very much interest in HL anymore. what i have, isnt really.. what i like to call "final product" but its been burning a hole in my HD, so ill probobly just release it the way it is.. its not so bad, just missing some rank stuff wich i would have liked to have in it.

as for the UT stuff, there is a way to make custom skins that work in-game. i wouldent have started making skins for them, if there hadent been some way around the problem. fortunately, [RO] Jeremy has found a way to get this to work, so this leaves me with something else to skin, other than HL models.

But, skinning all together isnt something i do all the time anymore.. Gf.. and a slight lost of interest have gotten in the way of that. of course ill still do it, just not as much as before.

so whaddya say? should i just release as is?

yes, please release them as they are right now. We´ve waited for such a long time now, and even though I really like RO, I would love to see this skins for Dod as well.

Flammenwerfers 12.SS BoC Model Set (Release 2) might be replaced--sad to say that...and its taken a long time for anything to be replaced in my axis folder--Flammenwerfer and Russ. Conscript are my gods. :) on the forums anyway... :)
