I've just updated this tutorial for anyone that would like to learn how to change a weapons origins, using Jed's edited HLMV v.1.0, which makes the setting up of a weapons origins alot quicker and easyer then what it ever used to be.

Marz-

Can a v_model be tilted on its X axis (e.g. sideways pistol) simply by adjusting the origins or does the v_model need to be tilted in milkshape/3dsMax?

No i think you would have to tilt it in milkshape, because the only control you have with the origins command is up/down, left/right, foward/backwards.
