This has been a long time coming. Right when 1.0 came out Russ had released these, but they had weird origins. But finally I got a hold of them with the default 1.0 origins, fixed a few texture problems, but never released because of a mesh problem. Ska Wars finally fixed it for me, and so now here it is. Hope you like it! :)

(Picture is attached)

FEATURES:
- Hi Res Photorealistic Wood Texture
- Includes BOTH Folding Stock Carbine and Regular M1 Carbine
- Includes reskinned V, P, And W models for both types of carbines
- Includes the photorealistic wool glove texture I just released that fits this models hands, just import it over the default hands

CREDITS:
Original Model and Skin: Polygon, Nomad, P_Witty
New Wood Skin: Dillinger
P and W Models for 1.0: Ash
Conversion: Ash
Special thanks to Ska Wars for fixing the mesh on the hands, which was causing a black line!

I'm so very nearly there.....but..

the bmp's for your re-skinned spring model, and garand v2 need to be 256x254...the one size you missed out:D ..im a useless fool when it comes down to re-sizing stuff to fit models....so if you could either make a glove texture to fit these models, or talk me through how to do it, either would be much appreciated:p

well..scratch that last comment..

i thought it might be as easy as to just re-size em in photoshop...and guess what..it worked!!!!!

boooyah..full set of dillingers gloved models coming right up:)

Argh, I need some help! I love this carbine and the gloves but I need help.

Can you explain this installation with more detail? I mean, do the gloves only work with the carbine if I use them from this pack? Which files are the folding and which are the non-folding? I am very very confused.

Animelord -

V_m1carbine is the regular carbine, V_fcarb is the para/folding stock carbine.

And you can import the glove texture onto both of those, just save them once you imported it.

If you want the gloves on other models, check my other release thread about the gloves. :)

Warlord - Glad you figured it out! :D You can resize any texture in photoshop and it'll import fine. Sorry I missed that one size!

Oh, ok, cool. Umm...how do I know which size of the gloves to use?

when you select the hands.bmp texture (im assuming you know how to use hlmv) it says the size that it has to be.

I really like the skin Dillinger GJ, but i really don't like how skinny the end looks, i'm going to give it some FOV magic to thicking it up a bit, give it a more chunky look.

Awesome! Thanks, Marzy. I don't really mind the skinny end, because the Carbine reticule on the default 1.0 model was way too big. If it's not too big it'll be really nice! :)

Wow!

Thats the best Carbine skin ever! Great work!

Oh, ok, well, I figured it out by myself, thanks anyway. I added the gloves to all my american weapons, very nice, but when I see my friendlies running by me, they still have default hand skins. Which model is it that I would have to open to fix that? P or W?

Also, may I suggest you making a pack of black leather gloves for the axis as well?

These gloves just change the 1st person hands, not the hands on the player models themselves.

To add gloves to the player models, you'd have to add the gloves to all the hand skins in the player models textures (which are on the head map). I may do that eventually, but it's not a priority.

Although my winter Fallshirmjager will have first and third person white wool gloves.

Axis winter pack? Cool, but maybe I'll just take the white wool gloves and change them to black, or grey, because I like Devin's non-gasmask axis a lot. I wish I could assign certain models to certain maps, argh...
