has anyone figured out what format they are. when you open the .pk3 files for the game and look at the model files they dont have an extension. i bet that if you give them the right extension you will be able to import them to a 3d editing program and make them into day of defeat models.

i agree. but i haven't played the MP yet, so i don't know yet if it will really be the best WW2 game.

i think the format is a new one. probably similar to the MoH or Quake 3 model format.

first of all, why don't you do it if you think that will work?

and second, that's illegal and you'll get banned from these forums. ip violation, fool.

I don't think it's ip violation if he's just talking about it, as long as he does not release any of the models on here he will be fine i think..?

first of all, he hasn't released anything yet. he just asked what kind of format the call of duty models have.

and BTW, if you have nothing important to say, please don't post in this thread. thx very much.

i already tried attaching many different extentions to the end of one of the models and i could find the right one. so thats why i posted this thread.

and when did it become illegal to convert models from one game to another?
people already made a sound pack from that game for dod, so why would it be any different with models?

Probably in their own format. Some of the models look to be in parts.

There's a link to a post on callofduty.org where they are trying to figure out the same thing. Hopefully they will figure something out if you guys don't! Good Luck! :D

there's plenty of sites that'll host a Call of Duty pack.

it's only a matter of time, really.

Graphically that game isn't very impressing. The sounds are really good though.
