Question: Changing 'axis-inf' to 'axis-para'

Hello all,

I downloaded 6th Fallschirmjaeger released by Flammenwerfer along with the credits. It is a really great modification but what would happen if I changed the file names to axis-para, so I can play as the models only in para-based maps.

Would this work? or isn't it just not that simple?

Thank you :)

It should work in theory as the infantry and para models have the same 4 body parts but the infantry uses subgroups more.

Off the top of my head, it should work but you may find that they all have the same body.

Back up your original para models and try it, I dont think it willl break and if it does just copy it back.

they will all have the normal (or the "first") tunic of the player models which means that they will not wear a parka (or whatever the 2nd uniform subgroup is).

it could also happen, that the equipment doesn't fit with the class, i.e., the mp40 gunner has a rifle belt or something like that.

other than that, it should work perfectly.
