Scoped Enfield Hacked/Reskinned

I think this is just the default (let me know if im wrong) enfield.

I reskinned the wood(hi-res), moved the scope, and lightened the medal.

I don't know... tell me what you think.

*constructive critisicm*

They metal looks great as does the wood but that scope....eh, I don't know if I've ever seen one on an enfield like that. Tell me if I'm wrong and I'll shut my yap but it just doesn't look right like that. The scope is mounted on the top of the gun so you get a straight shot and not having to move the entire gun and take a guess. But good reskin/recoloring.

PS, you've got a black stock. Is that intentional?

Yeah i don't think it looks right like that ill just put it back and find something else to mess with...
plus its too low. Blah bad job.(on the scope.)

And the stock...i made it too dark. I already fixed that. Thnx though.

That's my hi-res wood skin on that enfield, not your skin. :(

You just recolored it. There's a very big difference between a reskin and a recolor.

err right the scope well it dont look right over on the side but wont it be kool if its part of an animate reload ie pull down the scope/put in clip of ammo pull scope back to top?

that could be your metal Dillenger and i did re-color the medal. However I did Re-skin the wood.

but i won't release if its gonna be a big contraversy or whatever. Its not that big a deal.

I can't make any final judgements unless I see the .bmp of the wood textures.

But that looks an awful lot like my wood, just darkened. It has the same angle on the grain as mine.

If you post your .bmp's, I'll see if it's mine. That way if I'm wrong, you can make fun of me.

this, is medicore. but its good for a new time skinner. :) keep working on fine tuning your lighting with the metal, and not making the metal so bright. most metals were dark and worn. the wood also looks a bit too vibrant. grain looks great, but the color is definately too vibrant. tone it down, or desaturate it and it should be good.

keep trying though, practice makes perfect :)

Very cool looking.

Here you go Dil. I made the mistake of recoloring once already and calling it a reskin. I think it was like 15 posts telling me it was a recolor (a bren):(

Anyway im not done gotta change the lighting a lil. And im gonna darkin up the medal a lil. Maybe even skin my own medal. We will see.
And its not anyone's medal either its the dod team's medal. :D
