Question/Problem Origins

well... i tried out Jeds new HLMV and saw the little origin thingy and was like woah! this makes origins a lot ezier.

ex. -- the prob

i decompile, edit the QC of a colt model.

i type in the origins. $origin -1 1 1

compile it back, then check jeds HLMV. somehow, the y axis is like at a -25, so i hafta go back and edit the QC with -1 -25 1 to get it to the CORRECT origins i want.

i tried this with other models, and i hafta do that same thing to everyone.

am i doing something wrong?

It sounds to me like your decompiling with milkshape, follow this tutorial from start to finish, and tell me if it works out any different to the results your getting now.
