I'm intrested in learning the basics of modeling, as expressed before, however I havn't gotten ahold of anyone of the forums on AIM or Yahoo yet, unfortunatly.
I don't want to know how to model from scratch just yet, first I'd like a tutorial on how to take certain things off of certain models, and place them on other models.
Also, if its at all possible, how to add or subtract sub models, so, say I can take a texture from a whole diffrent model and put it on the defaults, so the Rifleman and Carbine have diffrent faces, ect. Perhaps you could simply use the same model as is, but copy and paste it, in some light? so you could have two seperate sub models? same goes for the SMGs, ect.
Basically I need to know, in simple terms....let me just make a random example.
How can I put the default para helmets on the default inf's head?
How can I make the carby and greaser have seperate sub models?
How can I bring those sexy rolled up sleeves over from the k43 onto say....the rifleman?
I own a full copy of Milkshape 3D, Jed's new HLMV, Photoshop 7.0 and obviously, the nessicary, DoD.
If you are willing to whip up this tutorial for me, but do not wish to have 100 people PMing you asking questions, or asking for requests personally, simply sent it to me in a PM. Please if you make the tutorial, write it in moron-language...I don't know anything about milkshape, except how I once made a big box-like structure.
