can someone make a REAL beltfed mg?

every MG i see with handfed has the bullets spaced out. Can someone make it so its actually having bullets touching eachother so it actually looks like a belt and not picket fence with bullets on it?

i think they did it like that to save and polies and because the skeleton wont let them add more. i dunno..
