smd->mdl mapping problem
i cant figure what is wrong... plz someone help me

also, how do i make a correct idle.smd? this was the only obscure part to me...

I've had this problem before on models where it looks find in Milkshape then borks in HLMV.
I find it tends to happen when you have a UV map that goes around and object that completes a 360 rotation but also comes together at the top. I've had heads do this and I had to make the top of the head a differnt part of the map.
Try applying the mapping from a different viewpoint, say top down.
