Who made this...

No one wanted to do the models I requested, so I'm gonna give them a shot myself. I want to know who made the model and skin for the sheath on the rifle in the attached pic. Also, if anyone could point out a tutorial on how I would go about taking that and attaching to another gun, that would be great.

Its Polygon and, i think Ls3. But there is already a version of the gun compatible with 1.0 but its steathless(or stealthless my english is not perfect you know!).

I know who made the rifle, I need to know who made the sheath so I can ask if it's ok to use it.

lol Youdon't understand! The model isn't compatible for Day of Defeat 1.0!

Go read my thread in the request forum so you know what it is I want to do. I don't see why what I want to do wouldn't work.
And I actually can use that model in 1.0 just by putting the 3.1 model in the folder, it has the 3.1 hands and sleeves. And probably some trouble for anyone other than germans carrying it.

No!!!! They changed the length of the bolt action recharge in 1.0! Now its longer so the anim is going to be ****ed up!

The animations play all the way if you let them, but if you keep clicking the fire key you'll make it fire again before the animations are finsihed.
This is beside the entire topic of this thread. Does anyone know who made the sheath on that rifle?

You don't need permission to use it, but you might need permission to distribute or edit it for public use.

That's a good point =P I don't really think I'd have a way to distribute them anyway, since I have no web space to upload them too. Guess I better start figuring out how to use milkshape then...

I -know- who made that sheath. I remember having that conversation with the guy when I released those K98's modified to my tastes... Unfortunately, I didn't include a ReadMe. I just put all the credits in the post, so I can't remember the guy's name. Real important guy. Made lots of mods for DoD. Real quality stuff. Guh!
If you're going to attach the sheath to an other K98 that has as many polies as Ls3's gorgeous beasty, you're liable to need to cut some polies off it. The sheath is a little heavy in that respect.

I was planning to just put it on the v1.0 default sniper rifles(all three). But I have no clue how to do anything. I'm only trying to do this cause I want the models but no one seems to want to do this.
I know it was someone who made lots of things, but I just can't place the name either, and there's no readme with the version still on my hard drive.

P_Witty either made the sheath or skinned it. I remember his name being attached to every release that had the sheath in it.
Also, I thought that someone had converted that...
Maybe just my imagination.
