is it possible to make a .mdl follow a player?
like a parachute, ammo box, or whatever your mind wants...
i just dont know if such entity exists

well yes.. look at the scientists in HL :P
but uhh..why would you want a parachute to follow a player ?:confused:
since i cant make anything in the player .mdls, i would like to create an illusion that hes using a parachute.
And also, would be cool if the player got the wire cutters(also a .mdl) and it appear attached to hes gear

okay... and is there any way to i lock the player in a path? and make this mdl follow the path at same speed?
then when arriving at the end other entity would call an animation and the chute would fall to the ground...
im just brainstorming:D

if it is possible, it would be cool to have an mg'er pack with an "illusion" person/soldier following the mg'er while holding a tripod, then the v model of teh 3.0 cal would have an animation of another guy's arm's setting up the tripod.:D ok, i went a little overboard, but i can't help it.
