fgd files

Looking for specific fgd files....

I have the dod fgd file, but i am missing some important entities, i am trying to find a file that has func_door and func_ladder. where do i go to find these. I've tried the VERC and dodHQ they don't have any of those.

i have hammer editor 3.4, 3.5 would always freeze my computer and i had to remove it.

You are aware that those entites are brush based and dont show up in the list for point based entities right ?

You have to make a brush and then turn into a entity to be able to make those, just incase you dont know...

Am pretty sure atleast Verc:s version has both entities, they are quiet common...

in any case u should download Angry Beavers fdg, its in his sig, im sure he'll make a post here ;)

that I will.

yeah there are 2 types of entitys, brush based and point based. point based can easily be placed, HOWEVER brush based need a brush. first of all you need to draw a drush that takes up the area you want for the func_door then turn it into an entity through buttons of keyboard shortcuts (they escape me at the moment its that automatic for me).

the best .fgd to use is the one \/ down there in my sig.
