texture issues, ive got too much

okay ive gone over my 4mb texture memory usage, i assume this means i have to make my own .wad file? if this is the case can you plz tell me a prgramme that i can use to make a wad and where to get it from, as always your help is much appreciated.

You can easily increase the texture usage with the compile flag
-texdata XXXX where the XXXX is how much memory to be used.

I think default is 4096 which is really nothing with todays standards, you can easily use 8192 which is about 8Mb texture memory.

You have to increase texture size in compiler options anyway. You should make your own wad if you use too many wad files (typically if more than 8).
