well its really of no big use except visual touches. i'd rather not see the couple of polies and put it somewhere else.

this model is gr8 n im sure youve seen my skin by now, newho there is a bit of detail missing on the sights and on the bolt...u know what im talking about, are you working to fi that at all?

also do u have a .mdl version by any chance? i have no idea how to convert it and i want to test it ingame:D

yeah, cuz for some reason when i go to export the smd to be able to compile it to a .mdl, it says

"Found vertex with invalid bone assinment! Model not exported!"

And i cant tell whether it looks good or not.

Um. That's because he didn't assign the bones to the vertexes. The half-life engine doesn't go "presto, here's the bolt, and here's the clip and here's the rifle itself", you have to tell it what vertexes go with which bones, which your "m8" apparently forgot to do (Which, sort of um... makes me question as to how much of Half-Life modelling he really knows haha). Simply: You've gotta assign the vertexes to the bones. I would give it a shot, but I just loaded the model and found out that it's not the right scale, and I'm too lazy to scale it to fit. If all else fails and nobody does it, I'll give it a shot though.
