the model is 4600 polies and 9 512 meshes LOL :D

edit: ive changed the bayonet since that render, and i'm probably going to take it off for the final product.

Will this be for CS? or a diff hl mod? if its for CS i want it :)

i don't know yet. its already released for firearms with someone else's skin.

Way too many polies, a lot of detail that would be better skinned, and one too many holes in the wooden forearm. looks nice otherwise.

i know the polies are way too high, but i was just looking for comments on the skin seeing as that's the only part that's mine. besides, more detail on the model makes it easier on the skinner :D!

ooh, its not just an AK47, its an AKM.

you should definately get rid of some of those details and have the skin take care of them. if you need a pic to get a skin i got one.

WHats the difference between an ak47 and an akm?

AKM was the later version and was made for easier/cheaper production.

so i see, this is just a yugoslavian knock off of the AKM. and it just so happens to be called RPK, which is the name of the very big machinegun version of the AK47.

thx fiblah, and no, the RPK is a LMG. its basically an ak47 with a heavyer/longer barrel, a bipod, a new stock, and a drum magazine.
