Heya everyone!

I just wanted to let everyone know that my latest "fun" map is complete and available for download

It is definately not like any other dod map out there. I decided to make the map when I saw someone on these forums lamenting the lack of "fun" maps.

Chickenrun would make a nice addition to lan play, or as a fun diversion from the standard dod styles of play.

The map is a 4 on 4. Weapons are pistols and knives. The object is simple. Get your 10 chickens back to your barn before the other team. The patented MOO2000 AntiSpawn Technology has been implimented. :)

Mirrors are more than welcome and very appreciated.

I hope you guys and gals will check it out and let me know what you think.

Sounds like a laugh, but the HL Western mod also had maps based around caputring chickens (god knows why). I take it you used the weaponstrip thingy.

Is there still class selection? I'm pretty sure there must still be..

What is it with HL and chickens???? I mean, HL itself has none, but loads of mods do.

You have to use a weaponstrip if you want to dictate the weapons to be used in your map. You have to use one of the "special" names to have it work properly, in this case game_playerspawn.

The class selection is still there, but it doesn't matter because as soon as you spawn, you are stripped of whatever you chose, and give what I want you to have.

The map is so small that MG's, sniper rifles and the like would have been way too crazy given the object of the game.

Nods go to Cow and Chicken, South Park, and of course...The Blues Brothers. :)

cs_italy, the first chickens showed up there.
