Everytime i try to load my map it lags and i can't seem to find out why, im pretty sure its cause its a big open space. So if anyone here interested at taking a look at my map give me ur email and ill email it to u, I suck at making websites and i just couldn't figure it out using geocities. Map has no errors so it loads perfectly, ill send u rmf, map, and bsp if u like or just any single on u like thx for your help.

The first thing I think of when I read this, is that the r_speeds on the map are through the roof. Feel free to send it to me, mailadress is below my sig.

/join #dodmaps @ Gamesnet. It is easyer to transfer files.
I'll give you tips to get your stuff working with decent r_speeds.
Only the .map file and the custom textures, will be fine.

I've checked the RMF and have come to a conclusion that VIS is the major problem. You have nearly no VIS-blockers. Wide open areas = wpoly extreme!

As You can prob see im a newbie mapper this is my first map that i had come so close to finishing, iv started others but scratched those too, so im not sure how to fix this vis blocker can you explain to me what do i need to do.
think of VIS visual objects. if from one point in your map you can see the entire thing that is bad. a VIS block is something like a hill put there so you can't see round it and see too much of the map. the mroe you see the more CPU power needed to run your map.
