(I fixed the links. Damn you geocities.)

Hey everyone, just thought I'd share my map with everyone.
I actually started this map in 3.1. Before any of you make comments on it, please understand that it's just in it's beginning stages. I've put a lot of time in it, but Worldcraft throws it's little "LEAK LEAK LEAK!" and "Entity out of world!" curveballs at me.

And I will fix the greenish-yellow lighting. :p

The concept is a "King of the hill" style gameplay, where one team must capture the center flag to win. It takes one minute to cap the hill.

Also, I made a listenserver hosting my map, but a friend who had DoD-retail was unable to join because of a valve error. If there is a solution to this problem, a link to the thread or an answer would be much appreciated.

Comments very welcome.

your brushwokr is ver simplistic, thats probably because your desing has no decent visblocks yto drop the w_poly. try wokr on both, and OMGM fix the lighting ASAP (know u said you would but  )

Looks like your having some probelms with scale too. Its hard to get a hang of correct scaling in hammer at first. As for the lighting i'd suggest setting it to a deep blue. It'll defiently look better. Keep working and improving your brushwork and practicing. Good start and good luck.

you have a good open mind of creativity, as you can tell, your brushwork is verry flat, make a real terrain by triangles and so on. I think, with a little practice you can become a good mapper
