thats it. Its a trick so we have a decent mg42... just changing the name of the .mdls didnt work properly => bipod and reload are not ok.

And what about people that like the MG34?

I could quite easily do this for you but you have to bear in mind a few things first:

The Mg42 has a 8 firing animations so as you come to the end of the belt you can see the bullets becoming less and less. The MG34 has two firing animations, one with ammo visible and one with an empty mag. if you were to have an MG42 as a MG34 you would either have to add a drum mag to it or you'd have to be happy with the idea of the entire ammo mag dissapearing once you'd used all the ammo.

This aint really a problem though as I myself very rarely use every last round in the gun.

Then don't install it. This is a custom model, he's not saying it should be changed by the DoD Dev team to be the default.

GS_Schimpf, search the forums, there alrady has been one released like that.

I made a belt fed MG34 to replace both MGs ages ago. Go to dodsupply or dod editing centre if you want it.

The MG42 in that picture i posted is to replace the MG34 yes. If anyone wants it I makes some P/W models and release it.

Way I see it is I owe the community for all the help and support they've given me over the past couple of months I've been modelling.

I'll get the P/W models for this finished right away. I need to work out a little bug in the V models an then you can expect a release. Probally in the next 2 hours (ish) lol
